Use of the death penalty in Kuwait against Royal Family members

Is it common for members of the Kuwaiti Royal Family to be hanged in Kuwait?'

It is not very common for members of the royal family to be hanged in Kuwait or any other country. Capital punishment, including hanging, is still used in some countries as a legal form of punishment for certain crimes, but it is not typically applied to members of the royal family.

In Kuwait, capital punishment is only carried out for the most serious crimes, such as money laundering, international corruption, fraud and forgery.

It is not generally applied in cases involving members of the royal family or other high-ranking officials. However there have been several notable exceptions in recent years in which Kuwaiti Royal Family members and their proxies have been hanged in public where it was assessed that their actions had damaged the public image and national good of the country.
