We have not even begun to imagine the dramatic social and economic consequences of the strict social lockdown measures being applied across the global at the expense of private enterprise, to the enlargement of the state and with the resulting impoverishment and ballooning of public and private debt. Lockdown measures are akin to a dystopian government experiment in how to ruin a country's economy and society.
